Turmo Travel Group, present in the market since 1981, represents the fourth generation of the Molinu family in passenger transport. This business dates back to 1890 when Alberto Quirico Molinu’s grandfather started a transport service using carriages and horses. At that time, the Municipality of Buddusò established a tri-weekly public transport service for passengers from Buddusò to Ozieri and back, passing through Pattada with an "omnibus," a carriage drawn by two horses. Today, the Group is a solid player in the Sardinian transport sector, consisting of four companies: the parent company Turmo Travel Srl and its subsidiaries Turmo Lines Srl, Agenzia Turmo Travel Srl, and Sarda Travel Srl. These companies operate across six locations: Olbia (where the legal, operational, and administrative headquarters are based), Porto Cervo, Alghero, Cagliari, San Teodoro (Sassari), and La Maddalena, on the island of the same name. The Group aims to provide a complete range of public and tourist services, including tailor-made tours that allow customers to fully appreciate the beauty of Sardinia. The Group's extensive and diverse fleet, housed in its own vehicle park, includes over 110 vehicles, including buses, minibusses, and luxury cars. All vehicles are recently registered, equipped with top-tier comfort, and insured with the highest legal coverage limits. Turmo Travel serves major hospitality businesses in the region and also operates as a Tour Operator and DMC, structured into four divisions: Incoming, Outgoing, Incentive & Meeting (M.I.C.E.), and Rent Car. The company offers a wide range of travel services, from individual and group travel packages to ferry, airline, and train ticketing services, as well as car rental without a driver.
